Marcus Smaller - Alone & Acoustic

neues_061106

"Some might sell their soul to the devil. I sold mine to this CD." It may sound a little too meaningful, but when you listen to his songs you will start to believe MARCUS SMALLER that he is more than serious about that.

With his band 3 FEET SMALLER he rocks the national and international stages for years now.
But the new album INTO THE UNKNOWN is a solo project back to basics. Not only alone but acoustic too.

13 Songs, primarily ballads, and every single one shows a little bit more of MARCUS' calm, reflective and vulnerable sides.
STAY ALONE is the name of the first single and also the video tries to capture the atmosphere of the album. A plain B/W-clip, low key, but very close and atmospheric.

Crash Test Youth - Julia live!

neues_060727

To produce powerful rock songs in the studio is one thing, but when it comes to stage performance a band has to face the truth. At the Wiener Donauinselfest 2006 - Europe's biggest Open Air Festival - JULIA again proved to be one of Austria's best rock acts these days.

For about an hour JULIA turned the place around the FM4-stage into a seething cauldron of enthusiasm. Hits like BEAUTIFUL, TECHNOLOGY or EVERLASTING let the crowd sing along. For their new single CRASH TEST YOUTH singer KOMA was supported by his companion MARCUS SMALLER (leadsinger of 3 FEET SMALLER) in a congenial way.

The new video features some of the best moments of this live show.

The portfolio of his commercial work contains portraits, fashion and advertising photos.
But also his non-commercial works, impressions and portraits, are included and display the art of modern black&white photography.

With THE ART OF FETISH he exclusivley concentrates on the art of erotic photography in his very own way.

New Video: Everlasting by Julia

neues_060405

One more time the 4 guys from the alternative rock band JULIA asked us to visualize one of their songs. After TECHNOLOGY the song EVERLASTING is the second single from their resently released album SUNRISE.

While TECHNOLOGY had some kind of a serious touch and was a little heavy on effects, the new clip should be opposed to that. So we took the camera off the tripod and followed the "dangerous criminal" KOMA into a prison where it's female wardens have some kind of strange humor when it comes to entertainment programme.

A lot of friends of the band were involved to play the prisoners and for those of you who are familiar with the Austrian alternative music scene it will be perfect fun to see so many well known faces.

New Video: Technology by Julia

neues_060113

The alternative-rock-band JULIA is already well known in Austria's and Germany's independent music scene; their song BEAUTIFUL was the official "anthem" of the Icehockey World Championship 2005. Now their new album SUNRISE is about to be released while the single TECHNOLOGY is already available in stores.

Their lyrics invit to think a little deeper apart from popular metaphors and phrases. The songs succeed in a balancing act between catchy tunes and heartfelt meanings.

So it was our ambition to transfer that energy to an appropriate video concept. Love as a mechanical, fragile but, as a consequence, also repairable thing - that was the keynote. The scenario became sort of a bizarre fantasy world with dark forrests and a dirty and threateningly industry environment.

The shooting turned out to be comparitively easy: 2 days in the studio with GreenScreen - the rest was generated on the computer. All the backgrounds were composed together by a multiplicity of photographs mixed with animated 3D-images in countless hours of compositing and rendering.
And it was worth the trouble: TECHNOLOGY is a video clip that is incomparable to anything we've done before - and it honestly simply makes fun watching.
