A bad trip through dark fantasies
Jul 04, 2010
A bad trip through dark fantasies - that is what you can read at least in the band’s press text about our video to their upcoming single Fever. The shooting itself wasn’t a bad trip at all.
High engagement and courage for something off the beaten track: Lunaffair proof it in their music and also in the collaboration with us working together on that video. When we first talked about a concept it was already clear that nobody wanted a classic performance clip or a common boy-meets-girl-story. Instead it should be paranoia, fear, delusion and desire transformed into images that we don’t have seen a thousand times before. It should be rough and unpredictable, diversified and intense.

3 Feet Smaller - See You In Hell
Oct 21, 2008

3 Feet Smaller were in the studio again and they don’t only come up with a new album and a new single, but also with a new video.
It’s a video especially for their fans as the guys from 3FS released many hours of their very own private video footage shot during the last years backstage, in the studio, on the road, at live gigs and so on.
Our goal was to view all that raw footage, seperate the best scenes and bring them in a diverting and funny order. See for yourself if we succeeded.

Anik Kadinski - Dance In The Moonlight
Jun 04, 2008

As a child she sang to her fathers guitar play, later she studied Jazz and translation, refers to David Bowie and Pink as her musical influences, is about 108 years old - if you believe in her myspace-profile - and thinks that there are (at least) 2 personalities inside of her. Sounds interesting - and it is.
Basically a typical singer-songwriter Anik Kadinski also combines aspects from Pop, Jazz and Country music. Interesting lyrics and an emotional interpretation make her songs to a kind of special experience.
The new single Dance in the Moonlight plays with the situation of 2 absolutely different personalities unified in one soul. For the video we picked up that thought.
The shooting took place at 5 different locations in 2 days, from the early dawn (yes, the sunrise was a real shot ...) till late at night. But what ever situation we came up with Anik always was "last woman dancing" - respect!

Tuesday - Good Bye
May 09, 2008

TUESDAY is drummer Reinhard, guitarist Georg, bassist Daniel and Lukas on the mikrophone. On the road since 2001, the fan crowd constantly increased over the years. Now they publish their first single.
Good Bye was chosen by ORF and game developer Greentube to be the official soundtrack of the online sport game FUSSBALL CHALLENGE 08.The video should only rudimentary remind on that fact.
For the video we found an amazing industrial hall - the Arsenal 221 - which perfectly fit our vision of an atmospheric and energetic performance-clip. Also perfect for the light concept: about 20 bulbs should illuminate the place to provide Lukas & Co with a fantastic light show.
Thanks to our light engineer Mini! Without him the video would'nt look the way it does. Also thanks to Andreas Peterseil who appears in a few shots as football player.

Guadalajara - Turn Up
Feb 25, 2008

The 8 guys from Guadalajara are on the road now for nine years, while WEAPONS OF MASS SEDUCTION will be their third studioalbum. The single TURN UP shows the direction: Ska-Rock at its best.
The story of the video about a little boy, enjoing the ride of his life, came from the band itself. Our goal was to create these fantasy worlds on the screen and fill them with life.
5 shooting days in 4 different locations and about 250 hours of hard work later we proudly present a clip which became more colorful and amusing than ever before.
Kudos to our leading actor Jamie and his brother Kevin too! :)

SheSays - Open Your Eyes
Jul 19, 2007
SheSays are the winners of the Ö3 Soundcheck 2005-bandcontest and the Amadeus Newcomer Award 2006. OPEN YOUR EYES is the first single of their recently published album WANT IT.
If a relationship comes to an end or if you lose someone who you really loved: Some day you will stop mourning and start opening your eyes again to see all the light and color flashing back into your life. And we wanted to capture this kind of sad but basically very positive moment in a very visual way.
The image was an old garret full of junk, dust and old memories almost begging to be cleared out - and so the band does.
The 2-day-shooting was well organised and took place at a wonderful old house in Lower Austria. It was a challenge and took some time to decorate the garret the way we wanted it to look like but it was more than worthwile as the videoclip hopefully proofs.

Marcus Smaller - Alone & Acoustic
Nov 06, 2006
"Some might sell their soul to the devil. I sold mine to this CD." It may sound a little too meaningful, but when you listen to his songs you will start to believe MARCUS SMALLER that he is more than serious about that.
With his band 3 FEET SMALLER he rocks the national and international stages for years now.
But the new album INTO THE UNKNOWN is a solo project back to basics. Not only alone but acoustic too.
13 Songs, primarily ballads, and every single one shows a little bit more of MARCUS' calm, reflective and vulnerable sides.
STAY ALONE is the name of the first single and also the video tries to capture the atmosphere of the album. A plain B/W-clip, low key, but very close and atmospheric.

Crash Test Youth - Julia live!
Jul 27, 2006
To produce powerful rock songs in the studio is one thing, but when it comes to stage performance a band has to face the truth. At the Wiener Donauinselfest 2006 - Europe's biggest Open Air Festival - JULIA again proved to be one of Austria's best rock acts these days.
For about an hour JULIA turned the place around the FM4-stage into a seething cauldron of enthusiasm. Hits like BEAUTIFUL, TECHNOLOGY or EVERLASTING let the crowd sing along. For their new single CRASH TEST YOUTH singer KOMA was supported by his companion MARCUS SMALLER (leadsinger of 3 FEET SMALLER) in a congenial way.
The new video features some of the best moments of this live show.

New Video: Everlasting by Julia
Apr 05, 2006
One more time the 4 guys from the alternative rock band JULIA asked us to visualize one of their songs. After TECHNOLOGY the song EVERLASTING is the second single from their resently released album SUNRISE.
While TECHNOLOGY had some kind of a serious touch and was a little heavy on effects, the new clip should be opposed to that. So we took the camera off the tripod and followed the "dangerous criminal" KOMA into a prison where it's female wardens have some kind of strange humor when it comes to entertainment programme.
A lot of friends of the band were involved to play the prisoners and for those of you who are familiar with the Austrian alternative music scene it will be perfect fun to see so many well known faces.

New Video: Technology by Julia
Jan 13, 2006
The alternative-rock-band JULIA is already well known in Austria's and Germany's independent music scene; their song BEAUTIFUL was the official "anthem" of the Icehockey World Championship 2005. Now their new album SUNRISE is about to be released while the single TECHNOLOGY is already available in stores.
Their lyrics invit to think a little deeper apart from popular metaphors and phrases. The songs succeed in a balancing act between catchy tunes and heartfelt meanings.
So it was our ambition to transfer that energy to an appropriate video concept. Love as a mechanical, fragile but, as a consequence, also repairable thing - that was the keynote. The scenario became sort of a bizarre fantasy world with dark forrests and a dirty and threateningly industry environment.
The shooting turned out to be comparitively easy: 2 days in the studio with GreenScreen - the rest was generated on the computer. All the backgrounds were composed together by a multiplicity of photographs mixed with animated 3D-images in countless hours of compositing and rendering.
And it was worth the trouble: TECHNOLOGY is a video clip that is incomparable to anything we've done before - and it honestly simply makes fun watching.

3 Feet Smaller: Live Concert DVD
Oct 22, 2005
On April 23 the austrian Punk-Rock-Band 3 FEET SMALLER celebrated their 5-years-jubilee with an amazing gig at the WUK in Vienna. The live-recording is now available on DVD.
We captured the event in spring this year with a lot of effort, not to miss a single moment of the show: 4 DigiBeta- and 4 MiniDV-Cameras, including a cameracrane and a MiniCam placed at the drumset.
The multicam editing worked pretty fine. Some additional finetuning and color correction and the job was done in a few weeks, ready to be turned into the "Best Live DVD of the Year". ;-)
It is available in stores on October 28 and holds about 74 min of Live-material (incl. 3 songs of the accoustic set) and a bunch of bonus material, including our musicvideo REASON UNKNOWN.
So don't hesitate and get one soon!
As a sample you will find the song FADE AWAY as an online stream right on our homepage.

Over the clouds with B-Nice & Niki Lauda
Sep 28, 2005
Ex-UNIQUE II-member ("Break my Stride") Felix Okon aka B-NICE starts his solo career with his new single "FLY".
Parts of the video took place at an altitude of 30.000 feet. Not only that Niki Lauda himself (former "Formula 1"-world champion and airline businessman) contributed an aeroplane with a whole crew, he also spoke a few lines within the song, including his famous words "enjoy our flight".
That's what we wish you too!

A release date of the Live-DVD is about to be announced yet.
Furthermore you may want to have a look at a nice "behind the scenes"-clip about the making of REASON UNKNOWN by 3 FEET SMALLER.

Music-Doku: Tamee Harrison "Going to Jersey"
Aug 01, 2004
By the end of July we were in Jersey/England to document the vocal-recordings of Austria's up-and-coming Popstar Tamee Harrison.
The producers Ronald Sölkner and Jürgen Leitner of Xtension Productions invited us to the exclusive studio of Gilbert O'Sullivan who had a bunch of hits in the 1970ies like "Clair" or "Get Down".
Musicvideo: Proxonic "Out of Control"
Jun 22, 2004
For a second time we co-operated with the viennese Rock-Band Proxonic (who are now under contract at the young label Helluva Rec.).
Just like on the "Dead Eyes"-clip we centered the band again, but now we also focused on the song and its lyrics and integrated a short story, so that the new clip became more significant.
Singer Agata descents into the dephts of her soul. Let's get Out of Control!

Musicvideo "Dead Eyes" by Proxonic online
Sep 27, 2003
Yesterday the first public presentation of our musicvideo "Dead Eyes" took place at the "Flex" in Vienna, where Proxonic celebrated their CD-Release-Party.
As reported we shot it in 2 days in a warehouse not far away from our city. While the whole production was a real "no budget"-shot, we took advantage of this situation and focused on the essential: the band - rough, straight, direct.
Thanks a lot to Agata, Albert, Hiasi, Klaus & Manuel for their power, good temper and the energy that results in wonderful atmospheric pictures.
